Market listing and isolation
Every Black Market Lending market is approved independently. A market determines whether an asset can be supplied, used as collateral, or borrowed, as well as the limits and risk terms that apply.
An asset's name, Black Market Launcher origin, trading activity, or availability in an Abyss DEX pool does not create a lending market or establish collateral eligibility.
Market settings

| Borrow availability and cap | Whether an asset can be borrowed and the maximum total outstanding debt in that asset. |
| Loan-to-value | The share of collateral value that can support initial borrowing. |
| Liquidation threshold | The risk-adjusted value assigned to collateral when determining whether an account is liquidatable. |
| Liquidation bonus | Additional collateral available to a liquidator who repays eligible debt. |
| Reserve factor | The portion of borrower interest directed to protocol reserves, which can affect supplier returns. |
| Interest-rate strategy | How utilization affects borrowing cost and supplier yield. |
| Isolation | Limits on how an asset can be used as collateral or combined with debt. |
Published settings are conditions, not guarantees of liquidity, price stability, or profitable liquidation. Caps can fill before a transaction is completed, and authorized protocol controls can change market availability or parameters.
Isolation rules
Isolation contains riskier or less liquid assets. An isolated asset may be restricted to particular debt assets, prevented from combining with other collateral, available only for supply, or unavailable as collateral or for borrowing. These restrictions are intentional: an asset being listed is not the same as being suitable for every lending use.
Choosing a market
Before taking exposure, understand whether supplying, collateral use, and borrowing are enabled; the relevant caps, loan-to-value, and liquidation threshold; the variable interest conditions; and the market's price and liquidity risks. A lending market can change even when the underlying token or its Abyss DEX trading remains available.
